Jacket condition: Fair, mainly clean, bright, not faded, not price-clipped, rubbing to edges/corners with minor creasing and loss, coffee-cup' mark to dust jacker cleaned. Comments: The background to the creation of the 'legend' status attached to General/Field Marshal Montgomery during the Second World War serving in North Africa, the D-Day landings and Europe.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
