The book: "The Money Moon: A Romance" by Jeffery Farnol tells the story of George Bellew, a wealthy American seeking simplicity in the English countryside. During his journey, he discovers Dapplemere farm, run by the determined Anthea and her young nephew, Small Porges. Facing financial difficulties, Anthea and the farm benefit from George's unexpected assistance. As George immerses himself in farm life, he finds himself drawn to Anthea and the magic of the 'Money Moon', a time when wishes are believed to come true. The tale beautifully captures love, hope, and the enchanting charm of rural England. Farnol's eloquent prose, coupled with the vivid illustrations by Edmund Blampied, transports readers into the heart of the story, making it a treasured addition to any library.
