One of 26 lettered copies of director Peter Bogdanovich's account of hearing actress Lillian Gish speak, in 1958, following a showing of D. W. Griffin's 1920 film 'Way Down East' (at the Museum of the City of New York). Bogdanovich directed The Last Picture Show, What's Up Doc?, Mask, and many other films.
Cloth spine, paper-covered boards; [9] pages. 5 by 7-1/4 inches. With a one-page introduction about Bogdanovich by the bookseller James Pepper. First edition (first printing). A near fine copy (issued without dust jacket). This is one of 26 lettered copies, signed by Bogdanovich.
