Corners beginning to lift. Molvig was a fiery and passionate expressionist painter based in Brisbane from the 1950s. Sponsored by Sydney art dealer Rudy Komon, his major works were large, sexual and some were never exhibited in mid-century Brisbane which was more accustomed to "pictures for over the mantel".
