London: Harrap, 1932. Hardcover. Very Good. Four volumes; I and II dated 1932, III and IV 1935. Very good in blue cloth, with gilt spine lettering, spine ends a little browned. Paper stock darkened but the pages are clean in tight and square bindings. In a good dust jackets, spines tanned with worn ends and nicks to front panels. Illustrated with reproductions of contemporary paintings and drawings which the author uses to depict the fashions and social manners of the times. From the collection of a former costume designer at Yorkshire Television, who studied at Leeds College of Art. As this item is heavy additional postage costs may apply. Very Good 1932
