Small 8vo (7 5/8" x 5 1/4"), green cloth with gold lettering on spine and cover, foldout Forsyte genealogical tree at front, Mylar-protected light green lettered dust jacket (unclipped), top edge stained green for dust protection, xvii + 1088 pages. Sequel to The Forsyte Saga. Contents include: The White Monkey, A Silent Wooing, Passers By, and Swan-Song. John Galsworthy OM (1867 - 1933) was an English novelist and playwright. Notable works include The Forsyte Saga (1906-1921) and its sequels, A Modern Comedy and End of the Chapter. He won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1932. SUPERIOR COPY with tight, bright, clean contents (though a bit of original printer's ink at edges of half title). Dust jacket is Fine though with slight sunning to backstrip.
