Harper & Brothers, n.d. but 1951. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good-/Good. Stated "First Edition" with date code "H-A" (August, 1951) underneath on copyright page. The volume is bumped and wrinkled on the spine ends, and there are a series of stains along the bottom edges of the boards, pastedowns, and endpapers from a previous Brodart sleeve. Additionally, there are light horizontal offsets on the endpapers, also from the Brodart. The jacket, protected in a new sleeve, is rubbed with chips, abrasions, closed tears and wrinkles. First American printing.
