Edition not stated, may be first;280 p.; VG-/VG; ex-library copy, stamped on bottom of text block, some damage to rear end page where a pocket was removed, verly slight cocking f spine. DJ unclipped, protective plastic cover. Overall looks nice, has slight musty smell. Interior clean and unmarked. Author's memoir of growing up in Moberly, Mississippi in the 1920s, where her mother was town librarian in Mr. Carnegie's Lib'ary. Caroline Werkley was at the time of writing a research librarian at the University of Pennsylvania. A charming book. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
