Original green cloth, with blind-stamped decoration and faded gilt lettering on the spine. Corners and spine ends rubbed, evidence of a bookplate removed from front pastedown. Binding sound, text clean, with minor foxing. Fictional account founded on real experiences and adventures in South Africa in the early nineteenth century. Mendelssohn I, 986.
