Book is slightly shelf rubbed at extremes and has prior owner's art deco bookplate on front end paper and bookshop sticker to lower rear gutter. Otherwise clean and unmarked copy. Scarce dust jacket is chipped at corners and spine ends, rubbed with minor losses to flap folds. 256pp. Collects five short works by the author of The Well of Loneliness: The Lover of Things, Fraulein Schwartz, The Rest Cure - 1932, Upon the Mountains, along with the title story.. First American Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. 8vo - 8" - 9" Tall.
