With beautiful and vibrant floral gilt decoration to inside edge of boards. Four raised bands to spine, with gilt titling in second compartment. TEG, and lightly marbled endpapers. [ix]+442pp. Very good book. Boards lightly shelfworn and spine foot bumped. Spine quite sunned, and light sunning to top edge. Titling gilt faded. Spotting and light toning to page edges, and moderate foxing to endpages. Lovely bookplate to front pastedown, along with small early bookseller's label. Interior very clean. From the library of American author, columnist, journalist, and presidential speechwriter William Safire. (literature, poem, poetry) Inquire if you need further information.

ALL kinds of books from 95 cent children\'s paperbacks to five figure rare and collectibles. A merging of the old and new is where we started, and it is where we are today. Our retail stores have always been places where a reader can rush in looking for a title needed for a term paper that is due the next day, or where bibliophiles can get lost \"in the stacks\" for as long as they wish.
