Synopsis: Young Nightingale, just arrived from the country to serve as apprentice to Mr Paris, a master carver of mirror frames, is bothered when Lucinda, Mr. Paris's daughter, starts to play tricks. Lucinda is adept at games with mirrors and reflections, and seems bent on tormenting the new apprentice.
