Unicorn Press, 1971. Staplebound. Very good. Octavo, pp. [12]. Staple-bound paperback with small bend on cover at back. "The Mirror" was published in 1971 by the Unicorn Press, using Hosho paper in a print run of 180 copies. Sixty of these were signed by Haines, and this copy is one of them, being number 21. John Meade Haines (1924 - 2011) was an award-winning American poet and educator and a former poet laureate of Alaska (1969-1973). Haines was a professor at the University of Alaska Fairbanks where he taught graduate-level and honors English.
