This limited edition is one of 1,500 copies but changed by the publisher in ink to "Publisher's Edition." Green cloth, decorations and title printed in black on the front cover and spine, x, 485 pp., acknowledgment, double column, about the author, illustrated mostly from photographs, portraits, maps, references, appendices, Brewster County brands, index. Drawings and art sketches by Ron Reynolds. History of the county which includes historical essays, biographical sketches of many early county residents. Much on ranching, cowboys, WACS on the Sul Ross campus during World War II, mining, etc. Fine copy and becoming scarce.
