Leipzig: F. A. Brockhaus, 1911. Leather. Good. 6.5" by 4.5". None. A little-known novel by Rudyard Kipling, set in Northern India. Kipling (1865 – 1936) was an English short-story writer, poet, and novelist chiefly remembered for his tales and poems of British soldiers in India and his tales for children. With a neat ink inscription to front free endpaper, dated 1913. In an unusual purple half straight-grain morocco binding over cloth covered boards. Externally, generally smart with light shelfwear only. Colour has faded considerably to boards and marginally to backstrip. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright throughout. Initial blindstamp to front free endpaper. Good

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
