New York: Holt, Rinehart Winston, 1975. First edition and first printing. Softcover. The simultaneous paperback issue. Features text by Aileen M. Smith that accompanies her husband's heart wrenching black and white images which showed the damages from chemical poisoning to the Japanese island Kyushu. A close to near fine copy in wrappers with some light edge wear and a small remainder mark to the bottom edge of the pages. Internally a clean copy.There was a recently released well received movie about Minamata starring Johnny Deep as Smith. (Roth 232-233).

All books noted as First Editions are also First Printings unless indicated otherwise. Books are returnable for any reason within 10 days provided they are returned in the same condition they were sent.
