It is a 1972 book, so you cannot really hope that it would have beautiful photographs and values. I will say, I was pleasantly surprised at the photographs and information. Since it is an old book, it is an antique in itself! What I found extremely helpful was identifying many of my Victorian era milk glass that I have collected. This book is the only place that I have had positive identification for a couple pieces that Ive obtained from estate sales. In a world that seems to solely depend on the internet for it's information, it was so nice to be able to hold a book that gave me more information than what i could find online! This is my favorite reference book that I own for glass collecting. I would recommend it to any milk glass enthusiast, even if only for the fact that you would be getting a book from a bygone era, where the author started to collect in the 1920's!
