E-318. Very Good. Hardcover. Hardcover. 12mo. Published by B. W. Huebsch, New York, 1917. 178 pgs. First Edition/First Printing. Bound in cloth boards with titles present to the spine and front board. Boards have light shelf-wear present to the extremities. Foxing present to the endpapers. Previous owner's name (Dorothy Earle) present to the FFEP. Text is clean and free of marks. Binding tight and solid. An attack on German and international wars, which were supposedly going to stop when the Communists took over Germany. At the time this came out, Europe was still locked in bloody carnage of World War 1. Liebknecht (1871-1919). An important socialist thinker and activist, was a co-founder with Rosa Luxemburg of the Spartacus League and shared her fate - murdered by the proto-Nazi group Freikorps. EB; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
