Lady Frazer (originally Elizabeth Johanna de Boys Adelsdorfer and, at one point, Lilly Grove - from first husband- 1854-1941) was the wife of James Frazer of Golden Bough fame. She was an early advocate of the aural-oral method of teaching modern languages. Front board is somewhat bowed, boards lightly soiled; binding sturdy, text pages clean. .
