Los Angeles CA: The Ward Ritchie Press. Very Good. 1966. Softcover. Two titles. The Mike Roy Cookbook; Inscribed by Roy on the ffep. Second printing. No.2: Everyday recipes is a first printing. Both of the covers are soiled and somewhat edge worn, interiors are clean and tightly bound. No.2: the cover is creased. Roy was a Radio star as food critic and chef with Dennis Bracken. In 1950, KTLA experimented with daytime television and within two weeks became the "Mike Roy's Kitchen" show (1950-57). Returning to radio, The Food News Hour made its debut in 1965. It would run for 11 successful years, ending with Roy's death in 1976. ; 8vo .
