Michael Joseph, 1957. 1st Edition. Hardcover. 1st Impression. Black boards with gilt stamped titles to the spine 239pp with original unclipped dust jacket designed by Dick Hart and priced at 13s 6d. The boards are clean and the titles bright with just a little bruising to the bottom corners. Internally clean, without name, inscription or bookplate and just a little toning to the free endpapers where the dust jacket does not reach. The dust jacket has slight uniform toning to the white areas. There is rubbing to the spine tips and corners with and minor loss to the corners and tears of 3.5 cm on the lower fore edge of the upper cover and 1 cm on the top of the lower joint.
