Grand Rapids, MI: William B. Eerdmans Publishing Company. Very Good with no dust jacket. 1965. Second Printing. Hardcover. An excellent and comprehensive one volume history of the state. Dunbar (1902 - 1970) was a college professor at Western Michigan University, historian and President of the Michigan Historical Society and the Michigan HIstorical Commission. Illustrated with drawings and maps. A nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no internal or external markings in the publisher's orginal blue cloth covers with gilt spine lettering. This is a second printing which was done in the first year of publication. ; B&W Illustrations; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 800 pages .
