The slipcase has a few light smudges and scratches from shelving o/w is Near Fine, Clean, Tight and Bright. No dustjacket as issued. The text of this edition follows that of the second edition with minor emendations and is published by arrangement with Penguin Books Ltd and The Perseus Books Group. Quarter Bound with a Dark Brown cloth spine with bright gilt titling to the spine, and pictorial paper-covered boards to the front and rear covers = FINE. Housed in the Original Slipcase which has bright gilt titling. The book has NO Inscriptions or Marks. Illustrated with b/w and colour plates. (x) + 278 pp. Bibliographical Note; Notes For Further Reading; Bibliography; List of Illustrations; Acknowledgements; Index. This is an Excellent, Very Clean, Tight and Bright, NEAR 'As New' copy. "This is the seminal account of the life and works of the Renaissance Man, Michelangelo."
