This is a nicely illustrated, early edition of "MICAH CLARKE - His Statement as Made to His Three Grandchildren, Joseph, Gervas, & Reuben during the Hard Winter of 1734" by 'Sherlock Holmes' author, ARTHUR CONAN DOYLE. 1894; Harper & Brothers; New York. The book features numerous full-page illustrations by George Willis Bardwell.
Condition:
Soiling/foxing to the covers and spine. Sharp cover corners. Tight binding with no cracks. Both covers are firmly attached. Light foxing to some of the illustrated plates, and to some of the pages before/after them. About 10 or so pages at the back have a small stain at the lower-outer corner. Light stains on the end papers and pastedowns. The front end paper has an old name/address written in pencil. The title page and frontispiece have pulled from the spine half-way down from the top. Overall the book is in Good condition.
