London: Trubner & Co.. Good. 1881. First Edition. Hardcover. Translated, and the Poetry Versified by James W. Redhouse, M.R.A.S., Etc. London: Trubner & Co., Ludgate Hill. 1881. Trübner's Oriental Series. Copy from the Royal Artillery Library, Woolrich. Presented by Redhouse on behalf of Sir William Fenwick Williams, constable of the Tower of London and hero of the Crimean War. Includes tipped in ALS from Redhouse to the Royal Artillery Library explaining the commission Redhouse received from Williams to present said copy to their library. Also includes bill of sale dated November 7, 1922 to D.B. Spooner of the Royal Asiatic Society, from Williams and Norgate, Publishers and Book Importers. Book is in need of conservation work. Green paper covered boards are soiled with chipping and bumping all around edges and spine. Boards are starting but binding remains tight. Paste-down label on spine is soiled and water-stained but readable. Interior in very good condition. Two library labels inside front board is only indication of being a library copy.; Book; 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall .
