New York: The Century Company, 1925. First edition. Hardcover. 515pp. Octavo. Brown cloth with illustration to front board. Very good. Front hinge shaky. Corners rubbed. Minor moisture damage to foot of text block beginning on the rear free endsheet and running through the first several leaves (no warping) does not affect legibility. INSCRIBED by the author on the front free endsheet. Inscription reads "To ---------- - grand daughter of my old friend - with all good wishes - Chas. F. Lummis - Oct 28 - 1928". Short ownership inscription beneath.
