Press of Byron S. Adams, 1901. 16mo (16 cm), pictorial card stock wrappers, bound by red, white and blue ribbon. 4 pp., 1 sepia tone illus. A handsome menu for the 1901 inaugural ball supper for William McKinley and Teddy Roosevelt, where French cuisine was served, including "Chaud'' choices of Consomme de Volaille a la Reine, Essence de Molusque, Homard Farcis, etc; "Froid" selections of Galantine de Chapon, Aspic de Langue, Jambon en Gelee, etc; finishing with "Mousses Merveillueses--Glaces Fantaisies" deserts such as Piece Montee and Charlotte Bellevue. The supper was created by Charles Rauscher, floral decorations provided by J. H. Small and sons. Listed are members of both the banquet and executive committees; An illustration of the East room of the White House appears inside the front cover. An image of the capitol buildoing appears on the rear cover. CONDITION: Very good, with some discoloration to image on back cover, wear at corners of wrapper, interior fresh.
