A professor of labor and employment law, author of numerous legal publications on mentla health and employment law, James McDonald updates the 1994 edition of the Main Volume. He addresses three new trends: the conflict between a plaintiff's right to privacy and a defendant's right to a fair trial; the increasing willingness of the courts to examine the role of the plaintiff's prior psychological problems; and the increasing scrutiny by the courts of expert testimony.
