Liepzig: S. Hirzel, 1927. First Edition. Octavo. 236 pages, index. German text. One of Adler's works on how to understand human nature. When Adler broke away from Freud, he advocated common sense with practical insights. Bookplate of Dr. Freidrich Heimsheimer who was a leading intellectual in the Weimar Repubic and a critic of the Third Reich. Bound in blue cloth lettered in gilt, spinelettered and decorated in gilt, corners only slightly bent. A very nice clean copy with just a bit of toning to margins.
