Type: Ex-Library Spine faded and a bit ripped including one 1/2" x 1" chip at the top; numerous library markings including stamps and card pocket; hinges half gone. Red cloth boards with black and silver decoration and title on front plus gilt titles on spine; 328 pp. plus about 20 b/w glossy plates. Pyle is well known for his novels that draw on the conflicts and intrigues so prevalent in English history of the fifteenth century. This one is no exception.
