Moderate tape marks to pastedowns and free endpapers. Top textblock edge dyed red with moderate water staining. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and bumping to corners. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Minor wear marks to boards. Clipped jacket. Panels and spine have light edgewear with tears and creases. Visible wear marks to spine and panels. Jacket is laminated.
Synopsis
Men Against the Sea is the second installment in the trilogy by Charles Nordhoff and James Norman Hall about the mutiny aboard the Bounty. It is preceded by Mutiny on the "Bounty" and followed by Pitcairn's Island. The original copyright date is 1933, and it was first printed in hardcover in January 1934 by Little, Brown and Company.
