Aurora, Oregon, USA: Two Rivers Press, 1978. For people wishing to embrace and discover further the teachings and meanings of the famous and powerful teacher G.I. Gurdjieff this is a true and exacting recollection of the man behind the mystic. This is the first impression of the first edition with the number line 1-10 present in the copyright notes. Bound in the publishers claret coloured cloth with contrasting gilt title lettering to spine. A virtually new copy which looks unread. Housed in the excellent dustwrapper with a lovely pencil drawing by Nonny Hogrogian of Gurdjieff in thoughtful mood to the front panel. Dustwrapper now protected in a removable archival booksleeve to preserve its condition. Dustwrapper is in fine condition with virtually no flaws. A very presentable copy of an important Gurdjieff title which gives such a frank insight into why his ideas and teachings are still so seriously followed and studied by so many even today..
