London: R. H. Porter, 1885. First Edition . Full Leather. Very Good+/No Jacket. 496 pages, plus 25 plates after J. Smit of which 15 are colored. Bound in deep green Mor0ccan leather with raised spine bands gilt lettering and decoration, and dentelle inside covers. All edges are gilded. Marbled end leaves. Covers show a little light rubbing. Lower top corner is lightly bumped, though leather is worn. There are a few light scuffs to gilded edges. Volume remains tight, very clean, and bright. A lovely copy.
