Blue cloth hardcover with gilt title on front cover and spine. Gilt top edge. Untrimmed foredge. Light shelf wear to cloth. Light edge wear to the boards. Light browning to the end sheets from ephemera placed inside. Browning to pages 60, 61 where paper was laid inside. Also, the name Mrs. Moses Wadley is underlined in pink on page 61. No other markings in text. Inscribed by the editor on the front paste down - "Mary Jane Clark Clark. Sand Hills - Augusta, Georgia from Grandma Mary Jane, Mary Clark Wadley". This book was limited to 600 copies. This is copy number 571 and signed by the Pastor. Related ephemera includes a cut out picture from a periodical of Rev. Joseph R. Wilson; a 5.5" x 3" pocket brochure of the First Presbyterian Church - "A Week of Renewed Church Life September 24th to October 1st 1933; two copies of the First Presbyterian Church bulletin, Pastor Rev. Robert Excell Fry, Sunday May 24, 1936; wraps titled - "Home Coming Day First Presbyterian Church Augusta, Georgia June the Fifth Nineteen Hundred and Twenty-Seven" with [20] pages and tipped in picture of the Church; a May 21, 1936 Christian Observer Commissioners to General Assembly", and a 1936 newspaper clipping.
