Roberts Brothers, 1873. Hardcover. Very Good. Very good brownish cloth hardcover with gilt letter and decoartion at cover an dspine shows mild soil to covers and page edges, rubbing at cover edges with touch of bumping at corners, pencil shadow at top of reverse of front endpaper, small tear at top of rear hinge and some other light trace wear. 227 pages translated by Harriet W. Preston. Still a pleasing copy of this early printing of these memoirs along with a selection of poems from the French novelist and poet.
