Half calf over marbled boards, manilla endpapers, red speckled edges. 24mo (14.5cm). pp. [ii] ep, vii, [1] blank, 269, [1] blank, [1] errata, [1] blank, [2] ep. Very Good. Rubbed spots to joints, edge and corner wear with light scuff to boards. Light foxing to pastedowns and facing heavy endpapers (with additional heavy eps fine at both ends). Port lightly impressed to title page; text near fine. Beautiful tight copy. Introduction [Editor]. Founder of modern Danish-Norwegian literature, a prolific writer, satirical poet (writing as Hans Michelsen etc), comedies (playwright), historical works, moral philosophical works, essays and epistles in a variety of subjects (for further reading on the memoir issue, see Stewart E.
