Pp. xxxvii, 262, plus 29 engraved plates including frontispiece; 356, plus 35 engraved plates including frontispiece. HARDCOVER, uniformly bound in contemporary green straight-grained morocco, sides with broad gilt roll within decorative fillet, inner blind decorative roll, spine with gilt flat broad raised bands, lettered direct to second compartment, large gilt decoration to remaining three, all edges gilt, gilt tooled corner edges and inner dentelles; spines trifle discoloured, light offset from the plates. In fine condition. Excellent set. ~ New, enlarged edition. The wonderful plates are by Edward Scriven and others, printed on card with fine, strong strikes, and bound-in. C-3
