Michael Joseph Ltd., London. 1939. First Edition. No DW. Turquoise cloth. silver lettering. Boards mildly soiled, slightly worn and rubbed at extremities, spine creased and dulled. Ownership stamp to the prelims, up to and including the first page of text, inner hinge cracked, but contents sound. occasional foxing throughout o/w a good copy of the memoirs of the founder of the Obelisk Press, Paris (Publisher of Joyce, Nin and Lawrence etc.) Scarce. VG.
