Committee of the Bar of the City of New York, New York, 1859. First Edition. Hardcover. Good Condition/No Dust Jacket. Size: Octavo (standard book size). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is sound. Brief gift inscription on front fly leaf. Brown gilt-stamped cloth over boards, frontispiece engraving of Hill, 60 pages, a presentation copy given by Hill's son, Edward Bayard Hill, to Lansing Pruyn. Nicholas Hill was a respected lawyer in Albany, New York. Edward Bayard Hill died only 3 years after his father in 1862 as a Union soldier in the Civil War. Corners and spine ends bumped and chipped, some staining on covers, front hinge cracked after title page, some offsetting from frontispiece. Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: 1 lb 10 oz.
