Page', 'View of Creek & Village of Crosswicks, New-Jersey, July, 1833' signed 'H. Page d, AA'. 6 x 3.75", remnants of cloth spine & paper label, marbled paper boards. Sabin #29909; Born Coventry, CT, 1791, worked as engraver for American Tract Society in Boston ca 1824, appointed Depositary of American Tract Society at New-York in spring of 1825, died 1834. Overwhelmingly pious, scant notice of his engraving & sketching, work distributing tracts. Much of spine cloth gone, cover well rubbed, text foxed, G.

We work with many institutions to develop collections, issue catalogs published in print and electronically and posted to our wordpress website. Most of our material is American, more non-fiction than fiction, with some emphasis on material culture (agriculture, architecture, cooking, decorative and fine arts, engineering, printing, textiles), business, educational, social and religious history.
