New York: Macmillan, 1911. First Edition. Hardcover. Used - Good/No Jacket. Yellow cloth covered boards with red and black illustration on the front cover. Red text outlined in gilt. Previous owner's name on inside front cover. Black and white frontispiece. Illustrations by H. T. Dunn. By the author of The Virginian. Preface - 22 pp. 9 full page black and white illustrations. 2 of the 11 original illustrations are missing at pages 56 and 226. Water stain at bottom outside corner of the first 40 pages. Two small pieces of cloth missing, one on the edge of the back cover and one at the back of the cover near the spine. Both holes are about 1/4 in. in diameter.
