Melrose, MA: Fiftieth Anniversary Committee, 1950 Book. Illus. by Photos. Good Plus. Hardcover. First ( No Additional printings). 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Original maroon cloth lettered in gilt on boards. Inscribed "To my good friend 'John' Shortis with kindest regards, Thomas L. Thistle, Mayor 1950." This book's only fault is stains from dampness on the DJ, which has bleached the cover lightly. Minor tears to DJ repaired inside. Many photos . The foldout record of fifty years of Statistics is perfectly clean and intact. There are no other names or signs of damage. This copy is unique for its original 1950 signature and its low price. 183 pp. plus foldout..
