Scarce anthropological study on the Melanesians of the South-East Solomon Islands exquisitely illustrated throughout with 3 color and 18 half-tone plates and numerous illustrations in the text. Moderate shelf wear. Spine slightly sunned. Rubbing and tiny closed tears at head and tail of spine. Minor scuffing and rippling on covers. Book plate removed on inside of front cover. Previous owner's blind stamp on front free endpaper (Norman Hurst). Very minor age-toning along paper margin. Binding in overall fair to good-, interior in good+ condition.
