A Whitman "Tween Age Book" - not too hard and not too easy for inbetween readers. Illustrated in orange on white. Illustrated endpapers. The second title in the Meg mystery series. In addition to writing the first 6 books of the Meg Duncan series, Bond wrote 3 of the books in the Trixie Belden series in the late 1970's (#17, 21 and 25.)
