About This Item

William Morrow, 1966. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good-/Very Good-. Signed. Inscribed, entirely in the author's hand, "To Don, from Liz & [SIGNED] William Klein" on the half title page. The volume is bumped on the spine ends, has a pinched spine, and there is a light bump and crease on the front panel. There is a small book seller's label on the base of the front endpaper, evidence of a similiarly small label removed on the top of the front endpaper, and the text is over-opened. The price clipped dust jacket, sleeve protected, is edge worn to include wrinkles and a narrow (almost 1" long) chip on the base of the front panel. Reinforced on the verso with tape. Illustrated with 7 William Klein color photographs of Elizabeth Taylor.

About Trilby & Co. Books

Trilby & Co. Books is located in Northern California. The company was founded years ago by a Shetland Sheepdog named Trilby. Trilby's message to her family was brief and direct - the sale of books would increase disposable income and improve the quality of provisions in her food dish. My name is McTavish (picture above). I am the current CEO of this company, and I approve of her message. Oh, by the way, my speciality is literature, with an emphasis on first editions and signed books.
