To which is Added, Mechanick Dyalling: Shewing how to Draw a True Sun-dyal on Any Given Plane, However Scituated; Only with the Help of a Straight Ruler and a Pair of Compasses, and Without Any Arithmetical Calculation". Introduction by John S. Kebabian. ix+ 352 pp. plus errata leaf at rear. Illustrated with drawings. Facsimile reiisue of the rare original 1703 edition. Includes an unprinted marbled paper dust jacket, also as new, which may or may not have been issued with the book. Joseph Moxton (1627-1691) was an English printer who specialized in mathematical books and maps as well as a maker of globes, mathematical instruments, etc. He was also the Royal Hydrographer to Charles II.
