New York: Atheneum, 1965. Second printing. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. Small 4to. Unpaginated. Red cloth with a black decoration (a child standing on a lion) on the front board, black lettering on the spine. Yellow endpapers and pastedowns. Price of $3.50 on the front flap of the dust jacket. With a Caldecott Medal sticker applied to the front panel of the dust jacket (this title won the 1965 Caldecott Award). Illustrated with multiple full-page color illustrations by Beni Montresor. Signed without personalization by Beni Montresor on a tipped-in leaf. Light edge wear to the jacket.
