The first three volumes of the first collected edition of Lord Kelvin's works, a further three volumes were issued twenty years later. Publisher's green cloth bindings, page edges untrimmed. Slight wear to ends of spines and corners. Small dent to spine of Volume II. An ex reference library set with label to foot of each spine, library bookplate to front pastedown endpapers, perforated stamps to title pages, all plates and occasionally to text. Library numbers to verso of title page and lower margin of following page in each volume. Good solid bindings, clean text throughout. Overall condition is Very Good.
