Collection of math puzzles & tricks to suprise and delight all ages, particulary middle school students. 89 pgs w/illustrations & diagrams, and answers to rear. How Many Days in a Month? --- With fists clenched, count off year's months on knuckles & hollows; all months on knuckles have 31 days, all falling on hollows have 30 except for February with 28 or 29. Then, magic fun with the numbers "7, 11 & 13": Have friend pick any 3-digit number: a) Repeat same numerals to form a 6-digit number; b) Divide number by 7; c) Divide answer by 11; and d) Divide again by 13, and, get the very number begun with! Strong copy despite listed flaws.
