Alphonse Lemerre, 1111. Hardcover. Acceptable. No Edition Remarks. 270 pages. Half bound in leather with marbled paper covered boards. French text. Black and white illustrations throughout. Minor foxing and noticeable tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers, as well as title pages. Light cracking and creasing to gutters and hinges but binding remains firm. Boards have moderate corner bumping and edge-wear with visible tanning, chipping and scuffing overall. Prominent loss to bottom spine end. Spine has heavier chipping and tanning with visible splitting and crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean.
